There are many restrictions we can advise on to give you comfort and save you from having to restrict the level of information your staff are given during employment.


The simple and short answer is absolutely you do. If you intend to make any profit, which is likely with most litters, you will require inspection and authorisation by your local authority, we can assist you in making the applications and any appeal. The purpose of the licence is to ensure quality breeding and animal welfare, it also protects consumers to ensure that their puppies are healthy and have all required socialisation prior to purchase. If you sell any pets over 6 months of age, you will require an additional licence, namely a pet vendor licence (pet shop licence).
