Katie McCreath is the Director of KMC Legal & Finance, renowned for her expertise in Confiscation and Serious Criminal Defence. A Higher Courts Advocate, Accredited Mediator, and Accredited Police Station Representative, Katie is a leading practitioner in financial and corporate crime, complex fraud, and high-stakes litigation.
As head of the firm’s Confiscation department, she has been instrumental in shaping confiscation law, saving clients over £500 million in POCA cases. A former elected member of POCLA, Katie’s meticulous approach and expert advocacy have led to the early discontinuation of numerous high-profile cases, including terrorism, large-scale fraud, domestic violence, and historical sexual offences.
With a 100% success rate in murder defence, she works alongside King’s Counsel, ensuring clients receive the highest level of representation. She also advises on contractual, employment, and media matters, as well as representing UK nationals in international legal proceedings.
Beyond her legal practice, Katie is a national-level equestrian competitor, which informs her niche expertise in equine law, providing clients with industry-specific legal guidance on contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Sajid is a qualified Solicitor with 13 years PQE, specialising in White Collar Crime, Serious Fraud, Regulatory and Compliance and Corporate law. Sajid completed his LLB (Hons) Degree and Legal Practice Course at Staffordshire University in 2010. He also has experience with general crime matters and worked on the first ever football match fixing prosecution case in the UK.
Sajid is proud of becoming a partner in a law firm at the age of 28 and then going on to set up his own firm at the age of 30. He has successfully run his own law firm for the past 6 years, before moving onto a new challenge in the Middle East, where Sajid hopes to transfer his expertise and challenge himself in a completely different market.
